38 Williams Street
Located at the door step of Boston’s historic Dudley Square, this 3,500sqft single family brick row house was purchased off market directly through the owner and delivered vacant. Although zoned a two family, this property had been configured as 3 units ranging in size from 1 to 2 bedroom units.
Construction began in the Summer of 2016 and a full scale gut renovation was necessary in order to redevelop the building into 3 legal condo quality apartments. Additionally, zoning relief was sought to add single story addition to the rear of the property. This project is slated to deliver in the Spring of 2017, the building now contains 1 four bedroom 2 bath duplex, 1 two bedroom, and 1 penthouse studio with a roof deck.
Designed by Vanko Studio Architects, built by Artizan General Construction, and financed by Cambridge Savings Bank; ZBA approval for a change of occupancy and increased FAR was necessary
